Northville’s annual festival will raise funds for awesome cause
The Northville Educational Foundation will be the benefactor of the 2022 Northville Food & Wine Festival, which is returning to the Historic Downtown Northville District on Friday, Aug. 12, and Saturday, Aug. 13.
The Northville Educational Foundation (NEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose goal is to fill funding gaps created by declining admissions. With the shortfall left by the state’s school funding formula, many impactful programs in the district would not be possible without the NEF’s assistance — thus, the importance of the festival’s support.
Festival attendees will start sipping and sampling culinary samples Friday from 6-9 p.m. during a Ford Field VIP get-together. The event will include guest speakers, exclusive wine tastings, culinary samples and live entertainment by Northville’s own Shawn Riley Band. A premium silent auction, 200-plus bottle wine-pull raffle and a chance to chat with the city’s most prominent personalities will highlight Friday’s agenda.
The festival will run from 1-9 p.m. Saturday as international wine tastings, creative culinary offerings and mood-enhancing musical acts will make the historic downtown district magnetic.
General admission tickets include entry into the festival, eight-plus hours of live music and your choice of eight wine (or beer) samples and four food samples.
VIP/sponsor tickets provide purchasers access to Friday and Saturday events.
