miride - Acmeminds
Brief

miRide is a personal urban mobility provider in the country. It aims to make travelling extremely accessible by providing chauffeur driven car ride services to the audience. They came to us with a clear problem, target audience and segmentation.

Process

We did user research based on inputs from stakeholders and their understanding and pain points that resonated well with the customers. We aimed at providing the most seamless experience yet incorporating all features that were crucial to the functioning and USP of the application. We made notes of the user base, their aspirations, expectations and what they seek in the product. Feature list was derived and low fidelity wireframes were designed as part of the initial design process.Driver was conceived for the chauffeur partner to aid the same. The flow, process and information was clearly showcased for seamless experience.

Ride sharing market was booming and we could see few competitors already in place for miRide. We took out a list of USP’s of the miRide app and went deep into research to find out what could be offered differently and most efficiently to provide the best customer experience.

Taking the insights from the miRide team, our team at Acmeminds helped in designing an automated and concise flow which was quick and easy to make a booking by a customer. Another app for the chauffeur partner called miRide Driver was conceived for the chauffeur partner to aid the same. The flow, process and information was clearly showcased for seamless experience.

Mobile App

The mobile application for the same was aimed at ensuring quick navigation, easy to read text and actions and prioritize from the list of features the ones that are most crucial to any user. This provided a quick and easy solution for any customer to book a ride. The app also ensured with the UI elements in place that things like the spacing on call to action buttons, tapping for checkboxes and other option based actions were seamless.

Based on inputs, we crafted wireframes for the mobile platform, emphasizing on:

  • User recollection of flow from existing top market players
  • Understanding detailed detailed requirements from stakeholders and modifying the flow
  • Prioritizing the time sensitivity of the transaction of the application
