Patient Xperience Boost

Brief

PXB is a concept launched in the USA. PXB revolves around the idea of condensing the option to give feedback to medical facilities and practitioners and to manage, study and improve the level of care provided.

Humanly gets hospitals onboard who then can ask their patients to onboard on the app and view their team of nurses and doctors along with providing feedback for their services on the patient facing mobile app. The hospitals can access, manage and use this data using the web application made for hospital staff. They can take actions to understand and rectify any shortcomings.

A few of the challenges we faced were to make a streamlined mechanism for patients and hospitals to be connected in sync based on the EMR system used by each hospital.

As a new brand in the market, the AcmeMinds team had been assigned to develop a web and mobile app for hospital staff and patients respectively that provides ease of use and a user-friendly approach.

Process

We did secondary user research based on inputs from stakeholders to understand the user base, their aspirations, expectations and what they seek in the product. Feature list for each user’s view was derived and low and high fidelity wireframes were designed as part of the initial design process.

Based on inputs, we crafted wireframes for website and mobile platforms, emphasizing on:

  • Onboarding maximum hospitals to increase user retention
  • Seamless flow for hospital staff to rea and revert feedbacks
  • Insightful dashboards and statistics for hospital staff

We conducted design sync calls with stakeholders at various steps of wireframing and design to get ongoing feedback and inputs. This ensured relevant designing as per developmental constraints and possible integrations.

Once we fixed on the structure of wireframes, we moved to the user interface designing part. We researched on best colour palettes, design language and fonts that can be associated best with a product catering to healthcare. We then designed the web and mobile applications for each of the user roles.

We analyzed the requirements after speaking to the stakeholders who had researched the potential of the idea and had a good understanding of the market and domain. We identified and studied user personas to understand the different user roles that will be needed to cater to and their motivation and pain points.
